Motor Vehicle Accident Claims
If you have been injured in a motor vehicle accident that was someone else's fault, then you may be entitled to a claim for compensation.
Public Liability Claims
Public liability claims extend to many different types of incidents which cause injury, including falls in public places (such as supermarkets or malls) and injuries sustained in school playgrounds, parks, recreation areas, theatres and even private homes, to mention only a few possible scenarios.
Medical Negligence Claims
Medical negligence claims arise when a health professional causes an injury to a patient as a result of a failure to exercise reasonable care or skill. If a health professional has acted negligently but there is no injury or loss as a result, then there will be no claim.
Workers Compensation Claims
If you have suffered a work related injury or illness in South Australia you may be entitled to compensation under the Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1986 (SA). Unlike other personal injury claims, it is not necessary to prove fault in order to obtain benefits in terms of the Act. Claims for compensation are made to WorkCover SA through its claims processing agent Employers Mutual, or where an exempt employer is involved, the claim is lodged directly with the employer.
